REGYMEN is getting ready to welcome its first members in New Zealand.
Our first studio in the country is scheduled to open on November 13, 2026, in Silverdale, just north of Auckland. It’s the starting point for a nine-location development agreement that will introduce REGYMEN to communities across New Zealand.
Why Silverdale Is the Starting Point
Silverdale will serve as REGYMEN’s New Zealand flagship, giving the local team a starting point before developing additional locations.
Preparations are already underway. The Silverdale team has begun introducing its membership options and inviting people to join its Founding 100 initiative.
Qualifying founding members receive an initial goal consultation, a personalized training program, and two one-on-one progress reviews with an assigned trainer at approximately 30 and 60 days.
Some people will arrive knowing exactly what they want from their training. Others will be trying coached fitness for the first time, returning after a long break, or looking for an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions.
Meet the People Bringing REGYMEN to New Zealand
Paul Bowman and Ash Williams will lead REGYMEN’s development in New Zealand, combining international fitness industry experience with a strong understanding of the local market.
Paul has spent more than a decade leading Wexer, a fitness technology company that works with health and fitness operators around the world. He’s also a former New Zealand international athlete, giving him experience in both the business and competitive sides of fitness.
“What attracted us to REGYMEN was that it didn’t feel like another version of what already exists,” Paul explained when the expansion was announced.
Ash brings extensive experience as a fitness operator and coach, along with established connections in the Silverdale fitness community. Her own competitive background has taught her what it takes to improve performance, work through setbacks, and handle pressure. She brings that perspective to her coaching, with a particular interest in HYROX, running, and helping people build confidence through training.
Ash will lead the coaching and member experience at Silverdale. She’ll work alongside a team whose backgrounds span strength training, Olympic lifting, endurance, mobility, and exercise physiology.
What Members Can Expect at REGYMEN Silverdale
The Silverdale studio will offer three training pathways. ACCESS provides independent gym training with programmed workout options. PERFORM focuses on coach-led strength and conditioning, with regular progress tracking. COMPETE offers more individualized coaching and preparation for HYROX, running events, and other competitions.
Members can move between pathways as their goals change. Someone who starts with coached workouts to build consistency can later work toward a specific competition without having to find another place to train.
What Comes After Silverdale?
Paul and Ash plan to evaluate additional opportunities around Auckland and other major New Zealand markets as the business develops.
The locations and opening dates for the remaining studios haven’t been announced.
The New Zealand agreement also comes as REGYMEN continues developing franchise opportunities in the United States.
Looking Forward to Opening Day
Soon, the first members will walk through the door. Coaches will get to know the people they’ll be training, and new faces will gradually become familiar ones as the weeks go by.
It’s rewarding to see REGYMEN reaching a new country, and we’re grateful to have people like Paul and Ash leading the way.
To the Silverdale team, we’re excited for you. And to everyone in New Zealand who’s curious about REGYMEN, we hope you’ll come meet the coaches, ask questions, and experience the training for yourself.
