.01
Foundational
Foundational training is a straightforward class modeled after traditional circuit training. The objective of this program is to build your baseline fitness: strength, endurance, aerobic capacity, agility and skill work.
.02
Engine
The Engine workout is designed to boost endurance, aerobic capacity, lactate threshold and tolerance. The class utilizes a series of intervals, compromised workouts, and sprint efforts to develop speed, VO2 Max, and endurance.
.03
Power
Muscular strength and endurance is critical in a HYROX race. You need to recruit tremendous muscular power, move weight over time, and do it while fatigued — and that’s a skill that needs to be trained. Whether you’re looking to build muscle and strength or you’re a highly conditioned endurance athlete seeking balance, the Power class will have you more prepared come race day.
.04
Complete
Complete training is the most race-specific workout you can do. A blend of aerobic and lactic conditioning with strength and HYROX-specific skills, it will prepare you for the exact physiological demands you’ll encounter on race day — challenging you physically and mentally, while building familiarity and comfort in the discomfort of those challenges.
